A built-in messaging feature allows your readers to send you comments directly without need for email. Editors can leave messages for each other.

4 · SITE PREFERENCES

Editors can control the features, layout and look of the site using a set of preferences dialogs. All preferences are listed and accessable from the Preferences page.

5 · MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT

Editors can add and manage members on the membership page. There are three levels of membership: guest, regular member and editor. Editors can restrict priveledges to certain member levels. For example, an editor could only allow members to post items. Another editor could restrict their site so only signed-in members could view it.

6 · SPONSOR MANAGEMENT

Editors review and change the current status of their sponsors on the Editor's Sponsorship page.

7 · EDITOR ONLY HELP TOPICS

Tideline2005 comes with a set of help topics specifically for editors to help get you started.

8 · DIRECT POSTING

When signed in as an editor you have priviledges to add, edit and delete any posted item immediately...without going through the review process. Also some dialogs and pages have extra options that only appear for editors.
