Tideline is everything you need to create a community collaboration site. Using our own direct-edit technology, everything from posting new material to editorial management is done directly from your browser.

WHAT CAN IT BE USED FOR?
Originally designed as a community newspaper, the new version has been expanded to allow a wide variety of "communities" to collaborate. Some current Tideline examples:

A wide-open community newspaper site where the public can read and post their own information. Example: CortesIsland.com

A city magazine where only selected authors can post items. Example: The Vancouver Observer

A resort's guestbook where staff and post events and guests can contribute and share experiences. Example: Hollyhock Live

A gallery's website with a public gallery and articles on current shows and featured artists. Example www.gallery-one.org

A public forum for a public issue. Example: Developer Chronicles

A Yoga community site. Example: Yoga Events Home

A personal or family blog

A student newspaper

A members-only website where you need to sign-in to even see it.

Any site where easy posting and group collaboration are needed.

HOW EASY IS IT TO USE?
Just click any "Add your own" link on the site and you'll get an simple form to fill out and submit. Pictures get resized automatically, thumbnail images are created...and everything gets sent to the editor for review before becoming live.
